Today, we are gathered here to celebrate the 76th Republic Day of India, a moment of immense pride for every Indian. On this day, in 1950, India adopted its Constitution, making it the largest democracy in the world.
Republic Day is not just a day to commemorate our past but also an occasion to reflect on our present and plan for a brighter future. Our Constitution, drafted under the leadership of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, ensures justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity for all citizens. It is a document that binds this diverse nation into one harmonious entity.
As we stand here today, let us remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who dreamt of an independent India. Let us also salute the vision of our leaders who laid the foundation of modern India and the armed forces who protect our freedom with unflinching courage.
India has made remarkable progress in every field—be it science, technology, sports, or economy. Yet, the true essence of our Republic lies in upholding the values of democracy, secularism, and inclusivity.
